What Is The Perfect Relationship?
We tend to have this version in our minds of what the perfect relationship is like. Whether it’s that romantic fairytale where destiny seemed to play a part, that goofy relationship where no one takes things too seriously, to a relationship filled with adventure or just saying at home cuddling.
We end building this expectation of what love should be like when we compare it to books we read, movies we watched, and other relationships we see. We begin to think there are set guidelines to make a relationship last and we start to believe that we have have to act a certain way to make a relationship work.
If you want my opinion, there is no right way to make a relationship last. Every relationship is different and all you can all hope for is that two people can be themselves and it just works. Your relationship has a unique story of its own that grows naturally. A perfect relationship doesn’t come down to grand romantic gestures, being cute and silly with each other, having deep meaningful conversations, or even finishing each others sentences and knowing everything the other person likes and dislikes. I believe a perfect relationship comes down to only one thing: two people falling in love with each other. Period.
